The Story:
On the 16th of June, 2006, an 18 year old Lionel Messi scored his first ever FIFA World Cup goal against Serbia and Montenegro, running on to a through ball, at incredible pace, and putting it away with his right foot.
The 2006 FIFA World Cup only gave the world a little taste of Messi as he was mainly used as a super sub. Unfortunately, Messi didn't feature in Argentina's loss to Germany. Who knows what the little magician would've done if he got his chance.
